Who we are

Purple Sky Cleaning, a house cleaning company operating in Toronto, Ontario. You can reach us at (647) 939-1800 or purpleskyclean@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote or book a clean: your name, email, phone number, the address of the home, and anything you tell us in the notes, such as access instructions, pets or allergies. We collect this because we cannot clean a home without knowing where it is and how to get in.

When you use the price calculator: nothing is sent to us. The calculation happens in your browser. Only when you continue to a booking do the details reach us.

Payment details: handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our website or our servers, and we cannot see it. We see only the last four digits, the card brand and the expiry date. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

Analytics: we use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets cookies and records things like your approximate location from your IP address, your device type and which pages you viewed. We use this to work out which parts of the site are useful. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not sell it.

Server logs: our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard access logs including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote. We do not share your address with anyone outside the people cleaning it.

Who else handles your data

• Cloudflare: hosts the website and serves it to you.
• Stripe: processes payments and stores your card securely.
• Google Analytics: website traffic measurement.

Some of these process data outside Canada, including in the United States, which means it can be subject to the laws of those countries.

How long we keep it

Booking and customer records are kept while you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards, including as long as tax and business records law requires. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted once they are clearly no longer active.

Turning off analytics

You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally either way.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent, though we may then be unable to provide the service. Email purpleskyclean@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and the date at the top.
